This tape is pretty similar to our split with MAMARRACHO and was recorded under the same conditions, more or less. There’s a lot of standard drum/bass/guitar instrumentation on here, but the results are anything but standard. At the time of its release, people accused us of writing songs, then wrecking them for no apparent reason. That wasn’t the case. These songs were written to be destroyed. None of the songs were given titles because we were too lazy to write any.

Brian’s older brother used to work with the guy from HOMOGENIZED TERRESTRIALS and we were introduced to his sounds through him and were big fans. When we sent him finished copies of the split, I never heard from him again, not even to acknowledge receipt of the package. I’ve always assumed he was upset about our side of the split, but I don’t know for sure. Only recently did I find out that wasn't the case.
