Our first release, cobbled together from what we felt were the best songs from two full “albums” we assembled but never released. Instead of buying cassettes to release all of the songs as intended, we decided to record over the boxes of unsold Threeskin tapes I was sitting on. All our future cassette releases were 35 minutes in length as a result. A couple of years later I stopped dubbing copies of this. The excessive amounts of tape hiss, volume inconsistencies and the master tape beginning to stretch from all the copies dubbed were the reasons for retiring it. The songs for this upload were taken from the master tapes of the “albums” the songs were taken from. Most of the tape hiss has been removed and the volume inconsistencies corrected.

Tracks #1-20 were recorded in July of 1995 on a boombox and 4-track in Forced Expression’s rehearsal space. The 4-track recordings were engineered by Jake.

Tracks #21-44 were recorded in the Fall and Winter of 1995. The studio songs were recorded at Studio 16 Productions and engineered by Chris Hunter. Track #37 was recorded on a ¼” reel-to-reel machine. Everything else was recorded on a boombox in Brian’s bedroom.
